       in the People's Millions.

We are delighted that our 'All in the Centre' Project was successful in our bid for funding from the People's Millions .  Thankyou to all who voted for us, helped publicise the project and supported us in any way. 

For 33 years the St Mary’s Centre has served the community, providing a home to many groups, clubs and organizations… attracting young and old alike. Now we need to improve our facilities and structure to provide a more welcoming environment which is capable of pleasing existing groups and accommodating new ones, especially those with special or additional needs.

We aim to achieve this by increasing our accessibility and inclusivity. We will create a sensory garden, an urban oasis … open to all. A path will lead people through the garden to a new, inviting entrance to the centre. Once inside they will find a restored main hall with reclaimed natural light, central heating, facilities for the disabled and a computer suite.

The plan is simply to better serve the community, to be here to welcome:  ‘All in the Centre’.
