Friends of St Mary

The Friends of St. Mary's are a growing company of enthusiastic people who value highly the important place which the Parish Church has played and continues to play in the cultural and religious life of the people of Whickham, and indeed of all Tyneside. They are very proud of their rich inheritance and wish to ensure that the buildings are well cared for so that the unique qualities of Whickham community life and learning can be safeguarded for the enjoyment of future generations.

We are a "GROWING CONCERN" and welcome new members. Application forms for new members are available by contacting our chairman Mr Noel Adamson or membership secretary Mrs Eileen Hills via the parish office.
