Baptism

Baptism is a 'sacrament' ....a gift of God... a visible sign of his love, and is a vitally important step for anyone to take, regardless of age.

Baptism speaks of God's grace, of God's love.  We try to speak something of that love here at St Mary's in our baptism ministry and in the welcome we provide for those seeking baptism.

This page is designed to help you to understand more about baptism, to help you in reaching decisions about baptism, for yourself or for your children, to help with practical advice on the baptism service and to tell you how to go about booking a baptism at St Mary's.  Please select the appropriate option below.

"This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it".     Psalm 118
