We will require £100 non-refundable deposit.
What happens after that?
Three months before the marriage: You will be contacted by letter and asked to attend a meeting with the a member of the clergy. At this meeting we will finalise the practicalities and talk about Christian Marriage.
One week before the marriage: We will have a rehearsal in church. Apart from yourselves we need the best man, bride’s father (or her sponsor), bridesmaids and ushers. Please bring the balance of the fee to the rehearsal. Cheques should be made payable to St Mary the Virgin, Whickham. It would be helpful if the fee for the bell ringers could be in cash. |
