Tranquility and Journey with God

Come and sit quietly, find space and peace in the rush of the day and enjoy the ambient music gently playing in the background. The parish church will be open for all - Wednesdays 10am to 2pm. Walk around the church, explore or perhaps just sit, read, pray, light a candle or fill in a prayer card. In the Nave you will be left to yourself, undisturbed, however there will always be someone on hand if you need any help. There are books and leaflets available enabling prayer, guiding meditation or simply offering information about the church. Tranquility begins after Holy Communion (10:00-10:45am) and ends at 2pm. During these times you may join in or be 'quietly present at a distance' using the time and space in your own way. If you're interested in exploring the Bible and your own spirituality we have Journey with God - a small group which meets informally in the St Mary's Centre from on Wednesdays 11:00-12:00 noon. Coffee and tea are also available near the church entrance. Tranquility and Journey with God are open to everyone. |
